Over the last few months I have been working on a Blogsphere script (much like wordpress or blogger offer) using wordpress as a front end and using shell scriptting, mysql and php5 as a backend. My goal was simple:

“A blogsphere for users who want to post REAL content”

I have achived it on two fronts now, both a work place based blogsphere(s) and a public domain site, the script is being forever updated with new and improved features, due to the flexibilty of the script(s) I have come up with the following:

1. Single user blogs:

This was created for shark-stats.co.uk – Still being updated to help users, it is ment to build a blank wordpress install (ready to use out of the box, much like a host’s install), and gives the user full access – this sort of creation script is more of a blogger / wordpress hosting script then the other as its more directed at one user posting unique content

2. Multiple user blogs:

More for work related blogs (projects etc), it can produce up to 1000 (currently capped at 10 at a time to stop spam creation) each with a generic admin username and password which can be used on all the blogs (easy management) and on the right system can use syslinks meaning it will not take up to much space

–Creation

Can create single user or multiple user blogs with a few clicks (or typing a username etc)

–Sphere management

Can access up to 30 spheres (each hosting 400 blogs) quickly and displays users (and details) – Currently working on futher blog management

–User creation / Management from admin area

No more logging into the dashboard! Can all be done via a small form on the admin area!
